Champagne Adam Garnotel was founded in 1899 by Mister Louis Adam. his son took over and managed the business, trading under the name of "Adam Père & Fils", until 1965. In 1971, the brand name " Adam Garnotel" was launched, following the mariage of miss Adam to mister Dominique Garnotel. Christophe, the great grandson of the founder, now carries on this flourishing family business.
Champagne Adam Garnotel is situated at Rilly-La-Montagne, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, halfway between Reims and Epernay. The finest blends of Adam-Garnotel champagne come from "Premier Cru" vineyards, comprising 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier and 1/3 Chardonnay.
Champagne Adam Garnotel has principally concentrated its efforts on the acquisition and developpement of some 10 hectares of renowned vineyards, all of which are "Premier Cru". In addition to the long and excating task of wine making, Champagne Adam Garnotel has constantly modernized the production plant equipment thus enabling high quality to be maintained from the pressing of the grapes the lebelling of the bottles.
